Newstead brewing Co

On 21st August I visited Newstead Brewing Co. in Queensland. They have a great range of beers and a good venue. The beers that I sampled were:
1. 3/4 Time, 3.4% abv, this is a session ale that has an IBU of 32 and a straw colour with a sweet, tropical fruit aroma. It has a lovely sweet passionfruit flavour and a mild hop bitterness on the finish. Very sessionable.
2. Two To The Valley, 6.4% abv, this is an India Pale Ale that has an IBU of 72 and a golden colour with a sweet citrus and tropical fruit aroma. It has a nice malt initial taste and then a strong fruit hop bitter finish that lingers.
3. Black Tragic, 7.1% abv, this is a black IPA with a sweet malt and subtle coffee aroma. It has a wonderful malty initial taste with hints of chocolate and coffee and then good flavours of fruit on a solid hop bitter finish. Very good!
4. Toowong Dubbel, 8.5% abv, this is a dark amber coloured Belgian styled ale with a sweet malty aroma. It has a magnificent, sweet caramel maltiness with hints of biscuit. An excellent beer!
5. The Mayne Thing, 4.7% abv, this is a golden Ale with an IBU of 27 and a golden straw colour and strong citrus fruit aroma. It has a sweet initial taste and then transitions into a fruity hop bitter finish. Refreshing and very good.
6. Liquidamber, 5.2% abv, this is an amber ale with an IBU of 38 and a subtle malt aroma. It has a great malt palate with hints of caramel and biscuits and then tastes of marmalade and a gentle peppery bitterness on the finish. Nice!!
7. 21 Feet 7 Inches, 5.5% abv, this is a dark amber brown coloured Porter with an IBU of 45 and a subtle coffee aroma. It has a light body but a full flavour of malt with hints of dark chocolate, coffee and caramel on a mild hop bitter finish. Well balanced and enjoyable.
8. Mojito IPA, 6.6% abv, this is a collaborative brew with Black Hops Brewery. It has a golden colour and a sweet mandarin aroma. It has a wonderful sweet, but light citrus and mint flavour of a mojito and then transitions smoothly into a nice, lingering hop bitterness. Excellent!!
I really enjoyed all of the beers that I sampled at Newstead Brewing Co. They have a wonderful range and all of them are quite delicious. I would like to thank Ryan and Lauren for their hospitality while I was there, they were both most helpful. I would recommend visiting this great Brewery if you can, it is well worth it.
