Little Bang Brewing

I went to the brewery of Little Bang Brewing on April 30th. They have a great venue in a factory unit in Stepney, in the Adelaide suburbs. It has the brewery and a good drinking area inside as well as a great beer garden.

The beers that I sampled were:

Strawberry Pilsner, 4.8% abv, this straw coloured beer has a great strawberry aroma. It has nice flavours that you would usually associate with a Pilsner and then a wonderful strawberry aftertaste. Great!!

Pinkening Hibiscus Wheat, 3.0% abv, this is a bright pink coloured beer with a sweet, yeasty aroma. The taste is light but quite delicious, it starts off sweetly and then has a nice citrus-like sour finish. Most refreshing and very drinkable.

Miracle Hoptonic, 6.0% abv, 120 IBU, this hazy straw coloured IPA has a sweet, citrus aroma. It has a wonderful well balanced taste that starts malty and then moves into a great hop bitter finish. Lovely and very approachable for a beer with such a high IBU.

Ira, 6.0% Irish Red Ale, this ale has an amber colour and a lovely sweet fruit and malt aroma. It has a great taste with a wonderful malty start and then a smooth bitter finish. Nice!!

Panther Chocolate Porter, 6.5% abv, this is a brown coloured porter with a great chocolate malt aroma. It tastes delicious, it has a full malt palate with strong hints of chocolate and a wonderful smooth texture. I really like this beer.

Galactopus, 10.1% abv, this is a US style barleywine that has a hazy amber brown colour and a sweet fruity citrus aroma. It has a wonderful, strong barley wine flavour that is like liquid marmalade with a gentle hop bitter finish. Fantastic!!!

This is a great little Brewery that is producing some wonderful beers. They will be having a special celebration next Saturday, 6th May, their Launchiversary Party, it is on from 12 noon until 12 midnight and should be fantastic. They have some special beers that will be available for the occasion as well as their usual range, they will have:

Chilli Chocolate Porter,   Belgian Tripel,   Imperial Stout and a barrel aged Pinkening. It sounds great and quite delicious , I wish I could be there.
