On April 30th I visited the Sweet Amber Brew Cafe in Semaphore. This little cafe has a wonderful range of Australian craft beers in the fridge as well as on tap. The taps were set for their IPA Extravaganza, which meant that they had three other brewers IPAs as well as one of their own on offer.
They had; Hop Nation IPL 7.5% abv, Hawkers IIPA 9.0% abv, Little Bang Hoptonic IPA 6.0% and their own Sweet Amber IPA 6.9% abv. This is the only one that I will review.
Sweet Amber IPA, 6.9% abv, this is an amber coloured Ale with a nice sweet malt and citrus hop aroma. It is very well balanced with a great big sweet malt initial palate and then transitions to a wonderful hop bitterness on a lovely crisp dry finish. A fantastic beer!!
This is a lovely little cafe for a great beer and pizza.
