On April 28th, I visited Prancing Pony Brewery. They have a great venue and produce some lovely beers.
The beers that I sampled were:

Hopwork Orange, 4.8% abv, this is a golden coloured Australian style Pale Ale with fruity, orange hop aromas. It has lots of sweet fruit flavours and then moves into a lovely hop bitter finish.
Amber Ale, 5.0% abv, this amber coloured ale has a nice malty aroma. It has flavours of malt with hints of caramel then moves to a lovely hop bitter finish.
Pale Ale, 5.5% abv, this is a dark straw coloured Ale with light spicy hop aromas. It has a clean crisp initial taste and then a citrus bitter finish.
India Red Ale, 7.9% abv, this is a hazy amber coloured ale with sweet fruit aromas. It has a wonderful malty initial palate with strong hints of caramel and then transitions to a lingering hop bitter finish.
Black Ale, 6.0% abv, this is a black coloured ale with an aroma of espresso. It has a great smooth malt taste with flavours of coffee, chocolate and then liquorice on the palate. Lovely!!
Achtung Helles, 4.8% abv, this breakfast pilsner style beer has a straw colour and a sweet yeast aroma. It has a very nice smooth taste with hints of bananas and a crisp finish.
Rusty Panzer, 5.6% abv, this is an Octoberfest style amber lager with a hazy copper colour and a subtle malt aroma. It has a wonderful full palate malt flavour with a mild bitterness on the finish. Very nice!

Pagan’s Empire, 6.6% abv, this is an Imperial Pale Ale with a cloudy amber colour and aromas of floral hops. It has a full hop citrus taste with a huge lingering hop bitter finish. It is all about the hops!!
Magnificent Midnight Ride, 9.0% abv, Imperial Stout with a black colour and aromas of chocolate and coffee. It has a lovely smooth texture and strong coffee malt flavour with hints of liquorice on the finish. Rich and YUMMY!!!
What a wonderful range of beers this brewery has. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who loves great beer. I was also told about something special that they have produced for GABS, it is a blend of a red ale and an Imperial stout, that sounds wonderful, it is called The Hunt For Red Velvet, keep an eye out for this one and let me know what it tastes like if you are lucky enough to find it.
