The Imperial Hotel Eumundi in Eumundi is in the process of becoming a brew pub. They are setting up a microbrewery out the back where the Eumundi Brewery was in the 80’s. They have a great venue for live music as well as areas for drinking and eating. The brewers, Chris and Alan, have a wealth of experience and are thirsty to get the beers pouring. They are initially going to produce a Lager, 4.5% abv ,( like the iconic Eumundi Lager of the past), a mid-strength Pale Ale 3.5% abv and an IPA. More styles will follow.
They will have their first beers available for locals and the media on the 25th August and then an opening to the general public in September.
I wish them the best of luck in this venture that will add another craft brewery to the area and another reason to visit.
